Where does a Remington 770 30-06 fit in with these rifles?

The Remington 770 is below any of these for quality. The 770 action can wear our with heavy use and is not repairable. I have seen the front sling swivel mount and the trigger guard break when the rifle is dropped.

that hog hunter is nice but nothing is funner than hog hunting with a rifle that shoots a pistol round.say a lever in 357 or 44 mag

Love my Vanguard S2 in 7mm-08. Word of caution should one have occasion to remove the action from the synthetic stock, however. When replacing it, the guard screws MUST be tightened to Weatherby specs – 32 in.lbs for the rear, 28 in.lbs. for the front screw – or accuracy suffers. I burned up a lot of ammo before finally calling Weatherby and getting the correct torque settings. This info really should be included in the literature packaged with each rifle.

The Vanguard series is awesome. I have two Vanguards (one in .257 Weatherby Mag and one in 300 Win Mag/stainless) and one Series 2 in .270WSM. I have shot two good whitetail bucks over the last couple of years with the .257 and the bullet hit right at my point of aim and dropped them in their tracks. Great quality and a great value.

The .35 Remington is a great pig and deer cartridge, especially with the "new" Hornady Leverlution ammo.

My Marlin 336 is a tack driver at 100 yards, I have shot deer up to 200 yards, but that is stretching it.
