Riflescopes Optics SHOT Show 2014

Introducing the Bushnell LRHS Riflescope

by RifleShooter Online Staff   |  April 16th, 2014 1

New for 2014, the Bushnell LRHS Riflescope (Long Range Hunting Scope) was purpose-built with long range hunters in mind.

The first focal plane scope features a 3-12x 44mm variable power with a 30mm one-piece tube. The optic includes a side parallax adjustment and .1 mil clicks with 10 mils of rev per adjustment.

It also uses Bushnell’s long-range G2H reticle and a zero stop setting to easily return to a familiar zero on-demand.

The Bushnell LHRS riflescope will be available in April 2014 for $1,499.

A 3x-12x for a long range scope? In my opinion, 12x is a little low for anything long range. Not saying it won’t work, but the better you can see a target the easier it is to hit it. An also, for the kind of money they are asking they could have started with on of the 6500 series scopes and given us at least a 2.5x-16x magnification range.
