WESTFIELD, Massachusetts – March 24, 2026Savage Arms®, an iconic firearm manufacturer, is introducing the 110 RF Core Tactical, the first of three rifles to be a part of its new line of rimfire rifles built on the 110 platform.

A full-size 22 LR rimfire rifle, the 110 RF Core Tactical brings all the familiar features of a standard centerfire rifle and scales it to optimize for a smaller rimfire cartridge. Featuring the new Quick Set Dial, shooters can now expect a full-length stock with a comfortable comb and adjustable length of pull. The integrated, toolless design allows shooters to fine-tune the stock in the field and on the go.

“With the 110 RF Core Tactical, we wanted to deliver the full experience of a Savage 110 in a rimfire platform,” said RJ Contorno, Senior Product Manager at Savage Arms. “From the updated stock to the interchangeable bolt baffle, every detail was designed to give shooters a premium, precision-focused rifle that feels familiar, shoots exceptionally well, and stands apart in the rimfire market.”

A key feature of the 110 RF Core Tactical is the interchangeable, reversible front baffle. This new baffle allows the user to swap the bolt throw length, switching between a short 22LR length and standard 308 Winchester length. The toolless design of the baffle can be switched at any time in under 30 seconds or less, perfect for precision shooting and training applications.

The rifle also features a precision buttoned rifled barrel, with custom 22 LR Match Chambers. These custom barrels are paired with a Front Locking Bolt Head to produce the best recipe for down-range accuracy and performance.

All new 110 RF models use the same footprint as the classic short-action Model 110, compatible with any aftermarket stocks, chassis systems or scope mounts designed for the platform. Each model also comes factory equipped with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail for mounting optics, as well as Savage’s innovative AccuTrigger.
