New from Black Hills is a .338 Norma Magnum load sending a 300-grain Sierra MatchKing bullet at a velocity 2725 fps. The .338 Norma Magnum provides essentially the same ballistics as the .338 Lapua, but in a shorter, more efficient case. The .338 Norma Magnum design avoids seating the projectile down into the powder space, which aids accuracy and efficiency. Bushnell Zoom Dot

The new Bushnell Zoom Dot is for shooters looking for a rugged easy to use electronic dot sight. The sight works equally well on both handguns and tactical style rifles. It comes with a quick mount system to attach to Weaver or Picatinny style rails with a 5:1 clamping force, keeping the scope firmly mounted under heavy recoil.

Very little information was available at press time on the new CZ 512. Reportedly, this will be a mid-year introduction of a semi-auto rifle chambered in either .22 Long Rifle or .22 WMR. It will have an ally receiver, polymer frame and will be very simple to field strip.

For 2010 Hornady is expanding its popular line of GMX Gilding Metal eXpanding component bullets to include new calibers. The line now consists of .243" 80-grain, .257" 110-grain, 6.5mm 120-grain, .308" 150-grain and .338" 185-grain bullets. One of the benefits found in using gilding metal is that it reduces pressure and fouling that is often associated with "all copper" bullets. The 1895 and 1886 lever action rifles were two of John M. Browning's finest designs. Expanding on past offerings of these two masterpieces, Winchester Repeating Arms announced Grade I configurations in both models.

The 1895 Grade I features a deeply blued receiver, lever and barrel; straight buttplate; satin finish walnut stock and forearm; top tang safety; and adjustable buckhorn rear sight and sculpted front. Chamberings are .405 Win., .30-06 and 30-40 Krag.
