Barrett has introduced the new 98B Fieldcraft rifle, a brand new bolt-action offering intended for precision long-range shooting.
The Fieldcraft version brings a few updated enhancements to Barrett's Model 98B , including a lighter chassis and Keymod rail attachment points. Chambered for 7mm Rem. Mag., the 98B Fieldcraft offers sub-MOA performance from a 24-inch stainless steel barrel. The rifle weights in at just over 9 pounds, and feeds from a 10-round detachable magazine.
The Barrett 98B Fieldcraft will be available in mid-summer 2014 for an estimated price of $3,995.

Capable of sub-MOA performance at long ranges, the
Barrett 98B Fieldcraft sports a straight-line design and a 24-inch, stainless steel barrel.
Featuring a lightweight aluminum upper receiver and a lightened lower receiver, the
Barrett 98B Fieldcraft weighs in at nine pounds.
This version of the 98B Fieldcraft fires the 7mm
Remington Magnum cartridge. The 98B can also be chambered in .338
Lapua Magnum, .300
Winchester Magnum and .308 Winchester.
The Barrett 98B Fieldcraft incorporates a 20 MOA Picatinny rail for optics and feeds from a detachable 10-round box magazine.
