First Look: Galco RifleMann Sling

First Look: Galco RifleMann Sling

New for 2016, Galco has developed the new RifleMann Sling, designed in collaboration with prolific outdoor writer and hunter Richard Mann.

Mann came to Galco in spring 2015 with an idea for a hunting sling. His design allowed a rifleman to use the sling in three braced positions. The first position is the traditional "hasty" sling. The second is the position originally used with Galco's Safari Ching sling. The Galco RifleMann Sling also allows for the use of the modern "military sniper" technique, where the sling wraps around the strong triceps.

Galco made several refinements to Mann's design, allowing easier and simpler use. The addition of thick padding allows very comfortable carry in the field.

Upon field-testing the new sling, Mann said it was, "The best damn sling I've ever used."

The design fits one-inch sling swivels and comes in black only. The Galco RifleMann Sling is available now and will retail at a suggested price of $49.95.
