The bonding technology improves bullet performance with increased retained weight and deeper penetration.

After successfully launching the new Super-X Power Max Bonded centerfire ammunition in 2009, Winchester Ammunition has extended the line in 2010 to provide its loyal customers more choices for hunting whitetail deer in additional popular calibers and more bullet weight choices.
Winchester's Super-X Power Max Bonded ammunition is a bonded jacketed bullet design specifically for the whitetail deer hunter at an affordable price. Winchester's proprietary bonding process welds lead to a copper alloy jacket where the two act together during expansion for improved penetration and retained weight.
"The bonding technology improves bullet performance with increased retained weight and deeper penetration, while still providing a quick and lethal knock-down," said Brett Flaugher, vice president of domestic and international marketing and sales for Winchester Ammunition. "For any whitetail hunter who is interested in bullet strength and penetration, the new Power Max Bonded is it."
