Savage Arms is launching the 110 Prairie Hunter, a new precision bolt-action rifle chambered in 224 Valkyrie. This new rifle is built on Savage's 110 bolt action and is the company's first 224 Valkyrie rifle. The 224 Valkyrie cartridge offers the least wind drift and drop in its class and less than half the recoil of cartridges with similar ballistics
The 110 Prairie Hunter comes with the user-adjustable AccuTrigger and is fitted with the AccuFit system. The ergonomic synthetic stock comes with adjustable length-of-pull and comb height making it easy for hunters to customize. The 22-inch carbon steel threaded barrel helps the rifle deliver consistent accuracy at extreme ranges. This rifle is ideal for long-distance target shooters and hunters targeting medium-sized game. It even works for backyard plinkers.
There are plenty of other features that make this rifle appealing to long-range shooters. The 110 Prairie Hunter is drilled and tapped with a one-piece 20 MOA rail. It also comes with a threaded muzzle, a detachable box magazine and three QD studs.
