Knight Rifles Announces Recall of Revolution and Revolution II Muzzleloading Rifles

Knight Revolution

Decatur, Alabama, July 13, 2009--Knight Rifles has announced a Product Safety Warning and Recall Notice for all Revolution and Revolution II muzzleloading rifles. The company has received a small number of reports from the field of accidental discharges of these rifles. While there have been no reports of personal injury to date, any accidental discharge has the potential to result in serious injury or death. Consequently, Knight Rifles is instituting this free recall program to inspect and, if necessary, repair the trigger assemblies of these rifles.

WARNING! Owners of Revolution and Revolution II rifles should immediately stop using these rifles and contact Knight Rifles to have their rifles inspected and repaired under the recall program. To participate in this recall program, owners can do either of the following: (1) call the toll-free recall hotline at 800-696-1703; or (2) follow the instructions of the Revolution Recall link on the Knight Rifles website. This recall program, including shipment of the trigger assemblies of the rifles to and from Knight Rifles, will be done at no cost to the owner.

This recall program does not apply to any other model of Knight muzzleloading rifles.
