Obama Hides Anti-Gun Position

Obama Hides Anti-Gun Position
Gun owners pressure President-elect to hide gun control agenda.

This just in from our friend Tom Gresham at Personal Defense TV and Gun Talk radio... .

President-elect Barack Obama apparantly had a very anti-gun position listed in the agenda on his official website. I say had, because as soon as Tom exposed it on his radio show, Obama's site was flooded by gun owners and the site was taken down.

Here is an excerpt from the removed site:

"[Obama] support[s] making the expired federal Assault Weapons Ban permanent, as such weapons belong on foreign battlefields and not on our streets."

Tom was kind enough to track down a cached version of the removed Obama site so you can read the full text here. Simply scroll down to the section titled "Crime & Law Enforcement."

At the moment, President-elect Obama seems to be hiding from his position on guns. As we find out more, we'll keep you posted.
